Wedding Your Ceremony Your Way
Your wedding ceremony may be a lush celebration or a short and sweet ritual that honors your relationship in a few words. How we fall in love and who we choose is always a sweet mystery. This should be honored and celebrated. At Ceremonies of Distinction, you are assured of getting exactly the romantic wedding of your dreams. An elopement is always fun. Should you be coming from elsewhere for a Tucson wedding, I can be a partner for your long-distance wedding planning, helping you find the perfect spot for the wedding, a florist, musicians or cake. All details can be taken care of by phone, e-mail or regular mail.
The Complete Wedding
When working with you to plan your wedding ceremony, we always start with your desires for your ceremony. For guidance, you will receive a wedding kit with options for every part of your ceremony. Some couples choose to write their own vows, and I can help you with this.
I will interview the two of you and write your love story. You may also add readings by friends and family, and a sub-ceremony or two such as a candle lighting, a ceremony to honor your family, the sand blending ceremony, a wine sharing ceremony, a hand fasting or ethnic traditions. Should either of you be bringing children into the marriage, I can offer you many ideas for including them in the ceremony and honoring your new blended family.
To make sure the day goes perfectly, I will conduct a rehearsal. After the wedding, you will receive a handsome keepsake copy of your ceremony to help you remember your special day. Please allow at least one week to write this type of wedding.
The Simple Wedding
If you are having a small wedding with just your witnesses or a few family members, you can choose a Simple Wedding. These weddings can usually be performed on very short notice. If you have time, you can choose from several pre-written ceremonies that I will personalize with a short section about the two of you. It is frequently possible for me to conduct these weddings in my home or garden.
Vow Renewals and Commitments
There are many reasons for couples to choose to renew their wedding vows. Perhaps their first wedding was very simple, or maybe they have overcome difficulties in their marriage and wish a fresh start. Wedding vow renewals may be as simple or as elaborate as you wish. Many couples choose a special anniversary to have the big wedding they wanted but didn’t have. They may wish to celebrate many years of a happy marriage.
Love knows no boundaries and I am happy to offer my services to all loving couples. If you cannot or do not wish to marry legally, you are free to gather with your friends and family to celebrate your committed relationship with a meaningful ceremony. I will prepare a beautiful certificate honoring the date
Each wedding is priced individually depending on your wishes for your ceremony. Because I spend a great deal of time with my wedding couples to ensure that everything is perfect for their ceremony, I charge accordingly and am not the lowest priced officiant in the area (nor am I the most expensive.) There is an additional travel supplement for ceremonies outside the city.
